Secto 4201

The Secto 4201 pendant, a cherished addition to the original Secto family, captivates attention whether placed above a dining room table, in a living room, hallway, or bedroom, thanks to its cosy yet practical illumination. Available in four colors—birch, walnut, black, and white—each pendant showcases a moulded birchwood shade crafted in Finland, exuding a soothing glow that enhances the ambiance. Serving as the more compact sibling to the larger 4200 pendant, the 4201 variant is well-suited for spaces with low ceilings and makes a striking statement when aligned in rows. Fashioned from slender wooden slats shaped into a cone, it diffuses light effectively, creating linear shadows that contribute to its overall atmospheric lighting. Designed by Seppo Koho, an accomplished architect and adherent of Scandinavian design and natural materials, the Secto lamps, including the 4201, hold a special place in modern interiors. Secto's inception sprang from a partnership between Koho and founder Tuula Jusélius, rooted in shared values of quality craftsmanship and a passion for natural, Finnish materials, cementing Secto's reputation as a producer of distinguished and contemporary designs.
