, the Danish design company that with its minimalistic and contemporary design language has reached wild popularity, in very little time. Today, we will have a look on the most beautiful and popular pendants from Muuto’s Scandinavian designers.
The Fluid pendant
The Fluid pendant
from Muuto, is a simple and elegant design, creating a calm and pleasing light that works for many purposes. The cloud-like design is made from matte white opal glass that offers the diffused and comfortable light. The pendant is available in two sizes, making it possible for you to create your own group of clouds over your conference table or dining table.
The design was created by the Swedish design Studio Claesson, Koivisto & Rune that has won the Annual Swedish Design Award eight times collectively. The Stockholm-based studio has also designed the Lean wall light for Muuto.

The Mhy pendant
The small and charming
Mhy-pendant
is a discrete pendant for your coffee table or over the kitchen counter. The pendant comes in mild, pastel colors making it familiar with the rest of the Muuto family.
The pendant is a direct reference to the character Little Mhy in the popular, Swedish children’s series Moomins. Her characteristic horsetail that stands straight in the air was the inspiration for Norwegian designers Norway Says, a renowned and successful design studio from Oslo.
Use the Mhy pendant on a row over a counter or alone as a discrete and fun design object. You can also find the Mhy pendant in several Copenhagen stores, like Føtex.
The Ambit pendant
The Ambit-series
has brought a lot of success to Muuto and if you investigate the elegant form, you can see why. The simple and charming shade made from aluminum is bent, polished and painted by hand and the colors are supported by a matte, dusty finish. The pendant works well, just about anywhere and only your imagination will set limits for the many applications of this lamp.
With the Ambit-series, Swedish TAF Studios has created yet another clear and simple design that is both inviting and functional. The pendant is available in two sizes, so you can adjust depending on how much space and possibilities you have.

The E27 pendant
The E27
from Muuto is a simple and functional hanging bulb. The name E27 refers to the most used socket-size and simultaneously explains the size of this pendant. The lamp is available is different Muuto-colors and works well if you hang them as a cluster from the ceiling.
The E27 is an alternative to the popular TALA bulbs, if you are looking for a cleaner and clearer style.
The design comes from Swedish Mattias Ståhlbom, who is also part of the TAF design studio. Like his colleagues, he is very respected and has reached exhibitions in both Stockholm and New York.
