Concept:
The Candela is one of Astep's most pretty and innovative lamps. With this product, experienced designer Francisco Gomez Paz has created a fusion between a lantern and an LED lamp. The flame in the glass is nourished by bioethanol, a completely clean and reusable fuel from plants and the energy from the warmth of the flame powers the built-in LED light. Furthermore, the lamp generates power for a USB port that can be used to charge your phone or other mobile devices. The lamp works like a lantern and creates power for itself by using the heat. This obviously means that the lamp has no cord or batteries which makes it extremely mobile. The Candela is the perfect choice got the design shelf as well as the long summer nights in the garden – and you won't run out of power as long as the flame is burning. NOTE: The lamp is available with or without a USB charger.
