Brokis is a Czech lamp manufacturer with a focus on flawless design, high quality and not least a focus on bohemian glass art. The gathering of both Czech and international designers has gained large recognition over recent years for their specific and innovative design philosophy. Brokis combines mouth-blown glass with other refined materials such as wood and hand-pressed metal. Based on a high-capacity production, Brokis has the opportunity to constantly innovate and play with new designs, to create new and innovative designs.

Brokis and Jan Rabell

Brokis was created by the renowned Czech contractor and engineer Jan Rabell. He created Brokis in 2006 to breathe new life into the traditional bohemian glass art, which was in danger of disappearing when many of the experienced glassblowers were retiring. He therefore bought a proud and traditional glassblowing factory, in order to create new and exciting products with intricate and soon extinct techniques. This has put Brokis in a unique position with techniques and designs that challenge the simple and timeless philosophy that dominates today's design world. The renowned and nearly 200-year-old glassblowing factory has now regained its original pride.
