His furniture is intended for everyday life and should be produced in natural quality materials which in all its simplicity appear elegant, which is a way of thinking which has been an important element in many of his iconic designs. The Canvas Chair is a chair with many years behind it, and its origins came as a counter-reaction to the very colorful and experimental designs that the 60s offered. But even though this is an old design, it is still as modern today as it was then. The clean lines, simple materials and honest design have over the years proven to be something that will always win love worldwide.
