The Ikeru vase from Fritz Hansen is inspired by the Japanese art of flower arranging, ikebana. Designed by Jaime Hayón, it has an elegant, curved shape that changes depending on how you arrange your flowers.
Ikeru means "to draw water" in Japanese and reflects the aesthetics and philosophy that characterize the Japanese-inspired flower art, Ikebana. The vase consists of a base in forest green glass and a metal insert where flowers, branches and grains can be placed as desired, allowing complete creative freedom.
