The Kaiser Idell lamp series has an elegant and timeless design, inspired by the original Bauhaus concept. The series is built around the world-patented ball joint from 1930 and the characteristic lampshade, which is the hallmark of Kaiser Idell. On top of the lamp top is the engraving "ORIGINAL KAISER-IDELL".
All lamps in the series are made of steel and brass, while the shades are hand-painted in high-gloss or mat paint. The chrome-plated parts consist of hand-polished and silver-soldered brass, which emphasizes the exclusive quality of the lamp.
The Kaiser Idell series includes table lamps, floor lamps, pendants and wall lamps. Most models are available in black, matt black and white, while a few are also available in dark green and red.
Christian Dell (1893-1974) designed the first lamps in the series in 1926, and the first models were produced and launched in 1936. One of the most recognized designs is the table lamp 6631 Luxus, which characterizes German quality, accomplished engineering and classic German design.
