In 1921, he designed a whole series of beautiful industrial office lamps for use in professional environments. The design was original and at the same time ahead of its time. The lamps had some extremely exciting and aesthetically beautiful design details, including the lamp's functional and specially designed arms and legs. The Gras - lamp had in its basic form neither screws nor any welded joints. With its robust, simple and still very ergonomic design, Gras became an icon of its time, and the lamp has also always appealed to designers, architects and artists.
The Ravel company was seduced by La Lampe Gras' modern design and ease of use, and The Ravel bought the patent and at the same time also took over the production of all Gras lamps in 1927.
La Lampe Gras N302 Ceiling light is a fantastically useful lamp.
