Way back in 1921, the engineer Bernard-Albin Gras drew and designed the La Lampe Gras lamp series. The innovative way of thinking led the world of lamps into a new era, as he was in every way ahead of his time with this timeless design. Originally, neither screws nor welding were used for the lamp and with La Lampe Gras a new trend in lamp production started. Since then and throughout time, several designers have found inspiration in this particular collection. The ideas behind the design were to create a collection that would be used for office and industrial environments, and it was when he met the architect Le Corbusier that the lamps really broke through. He used a wide range of lamps for several ongoing interior design projects. The original lamps from, among other things, 1921 have today become collector's items. Primarily in France, but also in the USA and Japan, people are particularly interested in the original lamps.
Although they are one of today's most popular lamp brands, they still manage to develop. They have a wide selection of lamps, but are also really good at developing their current lamps and renewing them so that they still remain as classic as possible. They continuously renew the range with new colors and exciting materials.

The most popular lamps from La Lampe Gras are the Lampe Gras the table lamp N205, the Lampe Gras N207 the table lamp , the Lampe Gras N304 the wall light and the Lampe gras N302 the ceiling light.
Note that this model comes with cord, where there is an on & off button mounted on the cord. The lamp must therefore be mounted so that the cord can reach a power outlet
