The Atlas bench from New Works is a piece of furniture that combines powerful simplicity with attention to detail. It is named after the mythological figure Atlas and rightly so. With its wide legs and solid proportions, the bench exudes stability and grounding without appearing heavy. The design was created by John Astbury and is based on architectural shapes and traditional furniture collections. The round legs and floating seat create a balance between strength and elegance that makes the bench suitable for both the entrance hall, living room or at the end of the bed. Atlas is made of solid wood and is available in several versions where the material's structure and natural color tones are allowed to stand out.
