New Works presents the iconic Kizu Portable Table Lamp in an exclusive travertine edition. Each lamp is individually numbered and signed by designer Lars Tornøe. This limited edition is only available at Andlight and Royal Design.
The name "Kizu," which means "kiss" in Japanese, emphasizes the fine connection between the lampshade and the base, which creates an almost magical encounter between two sculptural forms. In this particular version, the base is cut from travertine, an elegant stone known for its distinctive tactile texture, natural perforations and soft color gradients. The sandy hues add a light and calm feel that gives a feeling of grounding.
The travertine-based lamp is equipped with an upgraded white Kizu shade that offers improved light output and a glass-like, glossy finish that harmonizes beautifully with the textured stone base. The lamp is equipped with a three-stage dimmer, which is easily operated by small pressing a metal circle on the lampshade. It also comes with a slim magnetic charging cable that allows use while the lamp is plugged in.
