Design: Petite Friture
Concept: The world-renowned Vertigo lamp, created by award-winning Constance Guisset, created large excitement in the design industry when it was launched as Petite Friture's first lamp creation in 2009. It quickly became a classic and also won the Audience Award at the Design Parade de la Villa Noailles in the year of launch.
Guisset has put a lot of thought into this design and every single detail is well thought out and measured with precision. For example, the lamp is made of a light material that causes the lamp to wave when wind comes through the room. In addition, the lightbulb is placed in a small basket, which, together with the shade , creates a nice shadow play on the ceiling and wall when the lamp is switched on.
The lamp is available in different colours, each with their own distinctive expression. The lamp is available in two sizes. The vernacular design is designed to work in all kinds of rooms - both large and small. Some may find it nice above the bed in the bedroom. Others will use it in the kitchen, in the living room or perhaps in a larger hall. With the Vertigo lamp, you get a genuine, French design icon that will please most design lovers.
