TON

Ton is a renowned company with a significant history, having built a solid foundation through their dedication to quality and exquisite craftsmanship. Over the years, the company has introduced several iconic products, including the famous No. 14 chair and Deja-vu 54, which have found their way into many hearts around the world. In addition to these flagships, Ton offers a diverse range of products manufactured with a constant focus on high quality and attention to detail. This dedication to quality ensures that Ton's furniture is not only beautiful to look at, but also durable and practical, designed for many years of use.

Steam-bent furniture

A significant part of Ton's production involves the steam bending technique, which allows wood to be shaped into unique and eye-catching designs. This craft requires skill and patience, and the result is furniture that can last a lifetime. It takes at least 20 craftsmen to shape, sand, stain, upholster and assemble each piece of furniture, a testament to the company's commitment to quality and world-class craftsmanship.

The story behind Ton

Ton's roots can be traced back to 1861, when the famous designer Michael Thonet and his sons founded their company in Bystřice pod Hostýnem in the Czech Republic. The company has housed several companies over the years, but in 1953 the name TON was adopted, as it is known today. Since then, Ton has continued the tradition of producing enchanting furniture that carries the wings of history, combined with modern design philosophies, making their collections both timeless and innovative.
