Konceot: Explore the timeless lighting designs created by the renowned Hans-Agne Jakobsson, who with skilful use of pine veneer creates warm and graphic lighting experiences. Jakobsson's Vaarnii series is a tribute to his iconic designs from the 1960s and a continuation of his legacy.

In these designs, the pine tree is used effectively and stylishly. Vaarnii has reconstructed three of Jakobsson's pendant designs using solid Finnish pine. The unique features of these designs include circular strips of pine veneer and a new solid wood ceiling rose. They convey a feeling of massive material, but in fact they are light as a feather.

After decades out of the limelight, these classic designs from the 20th century are now being reintroduced to the market.
