Concept: The extraordinarily light and elegant Surfboard coffee table designed by Danish Arne Hovmand-Olsen is a good example of design that draws inspiration from other objects. As the name probably reveals, the shape of this coffee table is found in a surfboard, which gives the coffee table itself a very special lightness and elegant shape. Surfboard is ideal for a larger sofa where there is room to sit more people around the coffee table, where its length also benefits. Surfboard is a classic 50s coffee table, and this is also clear in the materials used. The table comes in a classic dark walnut or teak wood, but for more modern interiors, it also exists in oak. With its simple and light appearance, Surfboard can be easily decorated in the home without appearing too heavy. Use it by the sofa area, or place it as a larger side table by a beautiful armchair.
