Design: Nanna Ditzel for Fredericia Furniture Concept: The Trinidad chair is the result of Nanna Ditzel's rethinking of the classic veneered wooden chair. inspired by architecture of the houses on the Caribbean island of Trinidad, Trinidad catches the eye with its curved oak backrest and the carved shapes, which give the chair a different look but also help to filter and play with the light in a very special way. The seat is curved from the sides, making it comfortable to sit even for longer periods of time, and its delicate appearance is complemented by slender legs in chrome. The chair was a large success shortly after its launch, and today it is considered a classic in modern Danish design.
